REAL TABLE TENNIS

What is REAL TABLE TENNIS?

Serious Fun for everyone. Real Table Tennis for Real People.

Think ping-pong is fun? Wait until you see and learn Real Table Tennis. It is a fast Olympic sport — and Serious Fun for players of every age and background.

Not basement ping-pong

Real Table Tennis uses proper tables, lighting, rubber rackets, and topspin rallying. The ball moves with spin and pace you feel immediately — which is why beginners and champions can share the same open-play room when coached well.

Connecticut’s approach

Connecticut Table Tennis partners with public and private gyms. The host provides space; Coach Dave provides equipment, organization, supervision, and promotion. Players pay a modest nightly fee. No long membership commitment — text first, then show up.

Who it’s for

Novice to champion. Families, seniors, juniors, and returning athletes. Recreational adults who want a real workout and a friendly room. Coaching and Newgy robot training are available during club nights by arrangement.

Where to start

Check this week’s activities, text Dave to confirm the session is on, and come play. Bring gym shoes and about $10 (confirm fee with Dave). Rackets can often be loaned for first visits.
